Officer Retreat

On Wednesday, June 14th the Crestview FFA Officer Team got together to watch the Cleveland Indians play at Progressive Field. The Officer members consisted of Kathy Lehman, Emma Ardis, Erin Bernhard, Sierra Schaffer, Elly Motter, Sierra May, Molly Ardis, Savanah Stuart, and Brynn Witmer. Members met at the school, then headed out to the game. On the way to the ballpark, we stopped at McDonald’s to grab a bite to eat. When we arrived at Progressive Field the game was delayed a hour, but that gave members an opportunity to walk around and visit the gift shops. During the game we cheered for the home team and learned about each other and talked about some ideas/projects for the upcoming year. Thank you parents who provided the transportation to and from the ball game.

               Crestview FFA Officer Retreat
The Crestview FFA Officer team spent June 29th-July 1st at the Adventure Center of FFA Camp Muskingum on their officer retreat. The officers were responsible for developing the chapter's Program of Activities (POA) and discussing ways to improve the chapter as an officer team. The POA is made up of measurable goals and plans for each activity that will be held during the upcoming year, each activity being categorized in the area of either Student, Chapter, or Community Developement. After discussing the past years activities, new activities have been added to the POA to better the chapter. Although most of the time at officer retreat was spent working as a team to complete the chapter's POA, there was also time to go paint balling and kayaking, allowing the officers to create a further bond for the upcoming year of working together. The hardwork and dedication of the officers at this years officer retreat ensures that the chapter will be at its best for the upcoming y
