FFA Camp

Members of the Crestview FFA have had a busy summer with the recent Honduras trip, Camp Muskingum, officer retreat, and preparing for upcoming fairs. Camp Muskingum, located in Carroll County, is a place where members from FFA chapters all across Ohio come together to learn leadership skills, make new friendships, and get out of comfort zones by participating in new outdoor experiences. Eight Crestview FFA members, Maddy Maust, Kelcie Chance, Luke Frazier, Austan Welch, Chris Loughman, Emma Ardis, Brynn Witmer, and Kenzie Workman attended camp during 3rd session, the week of June 22nd-June 26th. At camp members participated in numerous leadership workshops led by the Ohio FFA State Officer Team, in which members got to meet with over the course of the week. During free time, members could participate in different sports tournaments, puplic speaking contests, shoot at the shotgun, rifle, or archery range, paintball, and visit the high ropes course.  Members also had the opportunity to swim, kayak, canoe, fish, and motorboat as camp is located on the banks of Leesville Lake.
